OTA Update - anyone received one yet?

Really wish they gave more details on what bugs they actually fixed. Like did they fix the motion sensors? Or do I have to trial by fire and have my alarm blasting at 3 am to find out if it wasnt included? ?

Is there a car firmware version number or something else to check to see if the updates have been installed? Mine is at the dealer right now, so I would be curious if they installed them there while getting service.

Just tried to subscribe to the Ford authoritiy, but the site must be down??

I’m guessing mine did yesterday. My screen settings were back to default and could log into the pointless Ford pass app. Other than that, I only noticed that my CarPlay picks back up where I left off. Previously it would just start like it connected the first time every time. I can’t seem to find a software version or proof of an actual update. Hopefully it also fixed the 1;00am alarm going off for no reason.

A little bird told me they are going to be released over a month period...

That depends on your settings, which you can set to auto update or manual.

From what i've read and confirmed with the dealership. No wifi is needed, it will download and install on its own. The truck can be moving also while it starts the upgrade.

I'm assuming you get a FordPass email or push notification on the phone when it happens?

I'm curious why one would need to connect the truck to your home wifi then?
