Hello All, I've noticed a lot of you have recieved the OTA update for Powerup 3.5.3, which enables Alexa and Full Screen Apple Carplay. However my Power-Up version is currently 2.7.3 Is there something I need to do to update it to 3.5.3?

I think very few have gotten it over air.

Ford has since quit sending it out over air for unknown reasons.

Strange, How do we get the update? Do we have to go to the dealer?

You'd need FRDS to get it up to 3.5.3 at the moment. However, OTA should be able to get you to 3.5.2.

Whenever I check for an update it just says theres no updates, which seems strange because I know there is.

I think you mean that you are checking for updates from the Sync screen?

That could result in "Your truck is uptodate", yet you have as many as 14 (random number) module updates available in FDRS.

I have seen others post that their OTA updates failed to download and/or install, and apparently Ford waits a while before they attempt to push out the same update again after a failure (60 days, if I recall correctly). So if you have an early one fail, it might be a while before you've gotten through the list to get fully up to date.

Many people on here have purchased the expensive equipment ($500) and subscription to FRDS to manually install these on their own, without waiting for Ford OTAs. You could try asking a dealer to do it, but they'll likely want to charge you for the time...if they're willing to do it at all.
