Any chance you know your ford pass power up version. As in other Canadian posts , 3.5.2 is the latest that I’ve seen available , had mine since Oct. 8 th. Noted though that you have a Tremor, if that would make a difference.

Here is my current sync screen.

I'm also on 22082 Revision: 411
Oct 2022 Job 2 Lariat

I have Alexa but do not have full screen car play. No clear mapping for software version to power up version.

Thanks for the quick reply. Read the first post on the ECU thread and spent an hour or so reading this and the ECU thread but haven't come across anything other than not to update certain modules and not to run network scan. I'll keep reading.
I had the same question a few months ago, the reason I went with the Mongoose as there are issues with bricking one or two particular modules with the Nano that can only be recovered with the Mongoose. In the end it wasn't worth the potential risk to me. Not to mention there could potentially be other issues that either aren't talked about or aren't yet discovered. At the end of the day, it's your money, but it will cost a lot less time and headache knowing it is MUCH less likely you'll create issues with the Mongoose.

That's my 2 cents

Thanks for the insight and not sending me to read all of the posts in a 500+ page thread with almost 8k posts!

I read through A LOT of the thread myself, at that time it was only 4000 posts or so, but I still probably read less than 1000 posts. Frankly, unless you have about 5 hours of free time, I don't think anyone can read through it all. The information IS laid out in the first post, BUT it doesn't really add enough clarity IMO. Luckily I had someone spoonfeed me too lol

The Cruise Control Module, CCM, will get bricked if you update it via the Nano. Additionally you'll have corruption of data sent to Ford if you do a network scan with the Nano. It was a cheap adapter most of us used in the beginning but we all found out the Mongoose, while pricy, was rock solid and cause no issues.

You are well behind. Youll have to wait and hope OTAs roll out your way.. the only way to make sur eyou get updated is manually yourself with FDRS.
That's dissapointing. My truck was built last month in October and is on the same version at his 2021.

I'm not surprised that trucks are still shipping with the previous Sync Version to 3.5.3 update.
It's possible those APIM's have been built and designated for supply dates before the recently made available update was in the pipeline?

Has anyoneon this forum recently received Over the air update 3.5.3 ? I am convinced Ford has stopped pushing it out OTA ?

I didn't know that it was pushed OTA to anyone yet. I thought folks with it (myself included) had updated with FDRS.

A small handful of folks got it OTA, but not many. I'm guessing those lucky few are in a "test" group and after a set number of weeks it'll start pushing to everyone else.

I'm normally an optimist, but 3.5.3 being delivered OTA would be a pretty amazing accomplishment considering all that we know today compared to back in the 1.7.x and 1.4.x days.

Edit: I just read imnuts post above, so I stand corrected already. Lol

So .... amazing accomplishment then? 😂. It is impressive to see this level of change in the past 6 months though.
