I realize that it’s “not for everybody” but my RCSB 5.0 4x4 w/3.31 Elock turns on a dime, with the 360 degree cameras… is a breeze to park and gets 22-23 MPG on average. 16 MPG when I’m towing and as much as 28 when I drive it like a little old Chinese lady.

Man I looked everywhere for a 6.5 bed used. Was certain I had to have it for camping as my 04 was a 6.5 scab. Found one and took a 2 min test drive with a u turn. That one uturn was an instant hard pass on the 6.5 bed hahahahah

Is there a way to run a VIN and see if it's been a problem child minus Carfax?

You can pull the vin up in FDRS and see what all has been done to it. If it's a problem vehicle there will be lots of FDRS entries with techs trying to fix issues. It will be rather apparent.

I hate the MPG too but slower and it really jumps up.
If we get to the point where we set the destination and let the vehicle handle all aspects of the driving, I wouldn't care if it went 50 mph the whole way there. I can sleep, work, watch a TV show...
I know we're still in the infancy but it'll happen, and be normal.
My wife starts smacking me if too many people are passing us constantly, so hypermiling is not my norm.

I'm driving a 2021 F150 Platinum FX4 5.0 3.73 6.5. I'm struggling with the fact that a 6.5 bed is a pain, fuel mileage isn't great as I'm seeing 16MPG, and the turning radius is terrible. I've been eyeing up a 2022 F150 PB FX4 3.73 5.5. It would cost me approximately $5-$7K to get into it. The truck is a year newer with half the miles.

Opinions? Thoughts?

I love my 21 PB. Mine came with 20-in rims. While cruising through craigslist one day found it set of winters mounted on 18 inch rims. Quickly figured out the electric drive was engineered around 18-in rims examples are the electric drive stays engaged longer resulting in the true 24 mi per gallon mileage. But since we really didn't have winter here in Boston. I decided to put the 20s back on, it looks way better
