Dang that's crazy! Did it perform the California stop (rolling through) or was that you? Granted that fits in perfect in Houston, but still wondering.
It always California stops, I guess because Comma is San Diego based.

Actually I think the issue is how high and forward the comma sits in an F150 compared to a sedan, the comma loses sight of stop sign as it approaches it. I need to open a bug report with comma, they will have to use the wide-angle camera for stop-signs on trucks.

when I enable dynamic, it also California stops for me. I was contemplating raising the mount up a little higher on the windshield, but it doesn’t sound like that will help from what you’re saying.

Well, I got my adaptive cruise and lane centering up and running. I have my OBD splitter and extended USB C cable. My comma 3x arrives Monday. I am excited to get it up and running. It seems the talk on what to run on it has slowed lately. What is everyone's go to now? Open Pilot with Ford Comfort? The latest Sunny Pilot? What should I put on this thing when it arrives?

Hey, just curious, why did you use ODB splitter? What else are you running?

I am running an aftermarket tune that is turned up quite a bit. I do a fair amount of data logging and didn't want to have to unplug everything to do so.

I am pretty late (new) to this, just finding out about OpenPilot and like what I see so far! I am contemplating on ordering pretty soon for a Lightning Lariat. For those that have it installed, how do you you like it? I have spent the most of this morning looking up feedback, forums, and videos. Would full self driving be able to be supported in the future on our tricks?

Does anyone know if Comma has newer hardware than the 3X planned to be released anytime soon? Just curious...

As far as I know, the next iteration will be something that can use an external GPU for solving the models, but I think that is a ways off.

I noticed the other night that we had an update.

version: sunnypilot v0.9.7.0 release date: 2024-03-15T03:53:17

This includes "support for many hybrid Ford models".

Anything specific that you can expand on what this includes?

CAN (Q3) Ford Hybrids (Escape, Maverick, Explorer) were unsupported due to a checksum error in Ford's vehicle speed message that would cause the Comma to fault. Comma finally found a workaround (probably calculating speed from wheel RPM or something similar) so that they could ignore the message with the bad checksums. Doesn't affect F150, Lightning or Mach E.

I'm following this thread from an F-150 Lightning perspective. I have a XLT ER with ACC and LKA. Waiting on more updates for the Q4 harness (to get rid of errors) before I jump in. Thank you all for your time and development.

Last night Isaac installed the custom 9 foot harness I made. It did remove the errors. He is testing this week to ensure there are no unintended consequences from the change. We will post the update on GitHub once the test is over.
