Has anyone with a lifted/leveled f150 installed the comma ? Ever since I leveled my truck the on center steering got really twitchy. I noticed it without and with bluecruis. Now with comma. It's still dithers back and forth at any speed over 60 except during turns and maneuvers. During straight driving it still ping pongs.

I heard f150s experience this when leveling or lifting and not fixing the upper controll arm geometry. I intend to get some Icon billet uppers with some adjustment.
My current truck isn't lifted. My last one had a 6 inch RC lift on it though. Did you get an alignment after the level kit? When you push the LCA down further it changes the toe a decent amount and it is unstable going straight until it's fixed.

They did an alignment with it.

Well, I got my adaptive cruise and lane centering up and running. I have my OBD splitter and extended USB C cable. My comma 3x arrives Monday. I am excited to get it up and running. It seems the talk on what to run on it has slowed lately. What is everyone's go to now? Open Pilot with Ford Comfort? The latest Sunny Pilot? What should I put on this thing when it arrives?

I have. 2.5” level and have no issues with lane centering or comma trying to ping pong. I did get an alignment post lift (installed myself). Maybe have a second shop check the alignment? if you share a route I can do an analysis on it.

Yeah probably a good idea. The shop could have just charged me for the alignment and didn't do anything.

Does anyone know if the 2024 Ford Ranger uses TRON?

We don't think so, but on the Raptor has the right ABS and PSCM to use a Comma.
Thanks!! The Raptor is exactly what I am thinking about ordering for a family member.

I am using SunnyPilot Dev-C3 on my 23 Lariat. I had the vehicle set to 21-23 F150 but last night it took an update and the Open pilot would not communicate with the truck when i went to head to work this AM.

I checked the vehicle settings and there is no longer the 21-23 F150 option, rather a few different F150 now with 2023 F150 (Its not a lightening, although there is an option now for lightening) set.

The only way I was able to get it to work was to change it to "No Vehicle Set"

Any thoughts?

Downside of being on the dev-branch is things sometimes break. It's an issue that should be resolved in the next release. if it works with "no vehicle set" then leave it there, that means it properly identified your truck automatically and you don't need to set one manually.

This is a question that I had before and forgot to ask.

@Ajzride, is there anyway to shut down/shut off the auto-updates? I would much prefer to just run with the current software indefinitely and only update when I'm absolutely certain that it will work on my vehicle.

You can take a version you like and create your own branch using that version. Once you do, your branch will not be updated until you choose to bring a newer version into your branch.

Looks like the update broke mine too.

Any solutions fellas?

I have a road trip tomorrow. Not ideal timing.
