Hi. Looking for recommendations for an Oil Drain Plug. Looking for quality item that will keep for years without any leaks.

What’s wrong with what you have? Are you looking for something special?

I'm going with this. I will easily be able to direct the drain tube through the cat theft plate I plan to get.

Not to go against the grain.. but I add a magnet to each of my oil drain plugs.. gives me some comfort as to how much wear is occurring between changes.. I epoxy a 1/4"x1/2" round magnet into the plug, usually I drill a 5/16" hole deep enough to hold it.. the stock ford drain has this already - all you need to do is epoxy the magnet in place. good luck however you go.

If you feel like making something you could try a Franken Mag for the magnets.

Are the 2022 2.7 the plastic plug or metal threaded typical drain plugs?

It’s plastic. Save your money and buy a 25 pack of #208 Viton o-rings from Grainger supply or any industrial supply house. Last check it was $14. Change it every oil change is what I do.
