Got a message from FordPass yesterday about my wifes Bronco Sport. It said "To conserve battery life, connect remote features including start / stop, lock / unlock are not available. This happens when you haven't' started your vehicle for a period of time. Simply start your vehicle and remote features will be back"

Thing is, I got the message on my phone as we were driving it? And it gets driven everyday. Anyone else run into an issue like this?

Happened yesterday to me too. Once per hour for 3 hours while parked in garage. I knew the battery wasn't low because I was driving it around on Friday. I ran the engine for 10 minutes in the driveway anyway and I haven't received any further messages today. App glitch, perhaps?

Happening for me daily also. Got the message a few hours after just completing a 2.5 hour trip in the F-150 a week ago. Now getting it even though my commute is 1 hour a day.

Must be. Guess we'll see if we get the message again. But pretty annoying if it disables remote start. It's getting chilly here in the mornings.

FordPass has been horrible for several weeks. Sends secure alert messages when it isn't activated and they come in hours late anyway.

my previous f250 did this often
i would get a notice its in deep sleep as we are tooling at 75 mph
they ended up changing out a battery junction box
i am not sure how many ford products use the same module , but bet its more than you think
after that it seemed to go away
not sure if ford pass is LATE or truck was actually screwed up
just a ghost in the machine i bet

Securalert is being disabled with recent OTA software updates and will come back at some future point when they've worked out the bugs. It's currently disabled on my truck.
