Hello everyone. This question is for anyone who has owned a vehicle with Sync 3 and its variants. My brother just purchased a 2020 Escape Titanium and when I was looking at it yesterday, I noticed on the screen that there is a menu for software updates. I clicked it and it shows auto updates toggled on, but it also said the last update was in March, 2020. My question is, does Ford still issue software updates for these vehicles? I am curious . Thanks.

I think you can still do free updates through Ford for the sync system. Last time I updated one of my sync 3 vehicles (about 2 weeks ago) I just google searched sync3 updates and I went to a Ford website, punch in the VIN and it tell you if there’s an update and how to download and install it
