Normal for bak revolver x4s

Was wondering if this raised little section near the cab was "normal". I have a feeling it isnt. Both my rails came bent and i tried to straighten them as I needed the cover on ASAP.

Was wondering if this raised little section near the cab was "normal". I have a feeling it isnt. Both my rails came bent and i tried to straighten them as I needed the cover on ASAP.

Not normal. My wife has the same cover on her 2019 F-150 and the first cover that was sent was defective. The second one arrived perfect and is flat from cab to tailgate. Until a few days ago when the top half of a tree landed on it.

EDIT: Now that I think back, I’m almost positive her first one was defective in the same location near the cab.

Thanks. I figured that was the case. I called them when i unpacked it all and saw the bent rails. I just have to email them the pictures and what not.

I had to do the same thing. They did replace it and it’s a great cover that looks great and works. My wife loves it because it’s flush to the bed. Now, I get to deal with insurance and trying to replace it.

Not normal. At most you might see some wrinkling on the edge seals, but not the whole way across.

This was the first cover. It was actually separated beneath the top skin where the slats connect.
