Anybody else not received a VIN for a build like mine?

My dad has a smoked quartz lariat very similar on order since 1/14 and no vin either. 3.5eco max tow, bed liner, wheel liners and power running boards. Dealer is telling him smoked quartz color is causing the delay now.

I ordered a lariat the same specs but in rapid red on 1/26, I dropped the wheel liners and the order got picked up a week later. I was the week of 4/12 till the shut down.

No VIN for me either, ordered March 1.

No VIN for me yet - Limited in Antimatter Blue w/Powerboost, spray in bedliner, floor liners (trays), interior work surface and max recline seats. Here is the email tracking I'm doing from my dealer - he sends me Friday updates. Does anyone know "exactly" when in the process they should be able to produce a VIN? ....

03/19/21 Order sent to plant, and accepted…
…told to expect scheduled to a week, scheduled to a day and then produced.
…I asked about getting a VIN and a screenshot of the order progress.

03/26/21 Order scheduled to a week…
…told to expect scheduled to a day next,
…told they don’t know specific week yet but will let me know
…told when it is sent to plant the VIN will be generated and I can track progress, they will send it to me when they receive it.

(as I just typed this I noticed he said the order was sent to plant back on the 19th; so I can only assume that he means once they schedule to a day?)

Yeah, most of those items have been on the constraints list for 1-2 months. Max Tow seems to be the worst culprit for delays though with some people waiting months before their build is scheduled, and a few more for production and delivery.
