I’ve noticed there is no Ecoboost badging anymore. Is this to not confuse them with powerboost? Has Ford released a reason for this?

Haven't seen an ecoboost badge yet personally.I would think there would be a badge for Eco Boost since there is one for Power Boost.
That make sense. There's one on the bottom right of the tailgate, but that's it as far as I know. I don't care why, less badges makes a cleaner looking truck.
Nether have I..Haven't seen an ecoboost badge yet personally.
WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING AN ECOBOOST IF I CAN'T SHOW IT OFF??!!!I’ve noticed there is no Ecoboost badging anymore. Is this to not confuse them with powerboost? Has Ford released a reason for this?
You can buy one from Ford parts and stick it on..Choose the best looking year badge they have..WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING AN ECOBOOST IF I CAN'T SHOW ITOFF??!!!
I think this video aptly describes my sentiment about the lack of EcoBoost badges!
It's funny on the Fx4 and 4X4... I didn't know anyone bought two wheel drive trucks. Even in Indiana we get enough snow that no one in their right mind punts on 4x4.I have to agree with your assumption that it has to do with the Powerboost badging. When the Ecoboost came out Ford wanted the public to know that your were driving an Ecoboost. It was the hot new thing. Now the Powerboost is the hot new thing, so they have to let everyone know that is what you bought.
For what a Powerboost Platinum costs, you better bet I want people to know that I have one.
Now, the FX4 stickers, they can leave those off for all I care. Everyone in NW Arkansas has 4-wheel drive trucks, I'm not impressing anyone.
I always request the dealership NOT place any of their free advertising badges on my vehicles, because that is the first thing I'd be removing anyway. Every time except once they have complied. While we are on the subject of badging, I am also not a fan of dealer badging. Some folks don't care, but it annoys the crap out of me. The most obnoxious I have seen if a dealer in MO who puts their badging on the tailgate and on both front fenders above the F-150 badging.

Remember the days when they would be attached using sheet-metal screws?
