So no dealership updates, or friends with FDRS? That IS impressive!!Good news. I indeed received another update and I am now officially driving with BlueCruise!
It's nice to finally have this working. And I also feel blessed that I have a 2021 Job 1 F-150 that actually successfully updated its software over the air all on its own. Albeit six months later than everyone else! So far I really love the feature. Definitely gives the truck an elevated vibe. And I find it more relaxing to drive with it on.
Something that may have helped with receiving updates faster is I finally turned on the schedule for every night of the week at 2AM. I didn't have any days enabled before, so maybe that is why I am so behind.
The latest update I received is 22-PU0707-SCH-POPB which also makes the cargo camera (and other cameras) work when moving which is awesome too. Definitely needed that as that was a big gripe for me. Looking forward to catching up on updates. Alexa and full-screen Car Play are both very welcome.
I do notice that my "Hands-Free Driving Mode" says it's available through "13-04-2023". Not totally sure what that means. April 13th maybe? Hopefully it lasts longer than that. Assuming this will update or there's some glitch here.

This is normal and by design. Your maps need to be up to date on order for blue cruise to continue functioning, since it is the live map data. Once you are caught up like you are now, the way it should work is you'll get another Ota to update your maps before April 13th. Worst case scenario, you are right that is a hard date and if for some reason you don't get OTA's, blue cruise will stop working after the 13th.
