anyone who got 275/65/r 20 SL Recons, what tire pressure are you running?
36 when installed in March- but 38-39 now in the warmer temps. Thinking about putting them back to 36-37 but haven't done it yet. Haven't noticed any ride differences either way.

I have the 275/65/20. They come with an aggressive sidewall, and a not so aggressive sidewall design. I put the aggressive side out. Readylift 2" level.

LOVE this look. I have a 23' BAP coming in this week. swapped from just a chrome platinum. Any additional pictures you could attach? I think i am going to purchase those tires. 275/65/20? 48lbs? should not hurt the MPG too much? What do you get for MPG, if you dont mind me asking.

Not the OP- but I have the same set-up (tire wise).. Here are a few pics. I also have a "23 BAP. Mileage, as you noted, is not significantly effected- maybe 0.5-1.0 mpg. I'm getting 21-23 depending on my highway mix:

Yep, ive seen your truck in this forum a couple times now i think. Love those tires, those will be the ones i do. I like the having that aggressive look without getting your MPG killed.

Lol. There’s a few rapid red BAP’s floating around in here- I think it’s becoming a more popular combination- but yeah, I think these tires (and other SL rated ones like it) are a great combo on the Powerboosts especially for an aggressive look without sacrificing too much efficiency. I just like the added sidewall that the 65’s give on the 20 inch wheels compared to the 275/60’s.

Had them put on today. Tire shop is 45 miles away and milage showed the same both ways, before and after new tires. They look great. Would not want any bigger. Truck has 2" level.

Has anyone gone with 285/65/20 (or larger) for these tires with a non leveled truck?

I’ve decided on these tires to replace my Pirellis on my PB but can’t decide on size and probably won’t be leveling my truck.

I actually have a very minor rub at full left lock (with 275/65/20) backing up in the front passenger wheel well- so I am guessing that 285/65 stock is going to be a problem without a lift and/or different wheel offset- at least with these Recons.

Other than this parking lot, and a few more snaps of it sagging in the rear when I loaded up with 40 bags of mulch, I need to take some more pictures. :)

I put the tires on within 25 miles of owning, so I don't know a before MPG. My trip2 hasn't been reset and it's on 16.0mpg. That's probably 70% short trips (couple miles here or there) in stop and go, and 30% highway 10-12 miles at a time. I had one trip to College Station and reset trip1 coming back. Had a good tailwind and got about 22 mpg over 100 miles. By the time I finished the tank of gas (26 gal), I was back down to 18. I'm hoping it gets better as it breaks in because this is a bit disappointing. I've got 3200 miles so far. These are pretty light tires and 1" taller than stock. I don't think it hurt mileage much compared to stock. Disclaimer, I haven't updated the tire size in forscan yet, so the 16.0 is probably closer to 16.5 mpg.

Here are a few more at the same location.
