It took a day or so show up on my app on Apple iOS after updating.

Just dropping in to let Ford know how stupid they are for dropping the zone lighting feature. It's class-action suit worthy IMO, it was advertised as a feature of the truck I bought. Here's the presser.

They think because something is a piece of software that they can just do whatever the hell they want without consequences. They effectively reduced the usefulness of the feature by 75%.

Unfortunately they can, it’s in the legalese in Ford’s terms and conditions for FordPass. Top paragraph.

You can, until you can't. Android won't let you use old app if there is an update to it. It may for a while, but at some point it will close the app unless you update it.

Not if you turn off updates. If it does i will just roll it back again. Then I will just jail break .

5.17.1 on Android.

Still no zone lighting.

Used service records to add my oil change last month but can't add receipts to it like old version. Not really surprised by that being removed.

I do like the service screen view better than the old version.

I'm annoyed zone lighting wasn't added back. I expected it to be available by now. If the F-150 is only one with it then it seems less likely to see a return when app is generic for all models.

Just got latest IOS update 5.19 that says you can ”control” OTA updates but I don’t really see a difference .

Yes, I saw that with 5.19.0 as well. It's a little misleading, it will allow you to "control" whether or not you want OTA's on or off and set the schedule. But it will not let you "control" when they will be downloaded and installed.

Mine still says to go to the truck and set everything just like it said before. In the end it doesn’t really matter but I thought it was odd

Exactly, I'm in the beta program, 5.19.0 looks like this in the ota settings screen. I'm sure the ios version will eventually be the same, Ford seems to have the worst app programmers.
