Is Ford rolling out a fix with this updated design (OD threaded axle)? Is Ford sending out notices to get this fixed? Or is this the Dorman solution? Just got off a chat with Ford and status quo - "fix under development."

I'm scheduled for installation next week, 22nd. I'm waiting for our tech nerds on here to provide a full analysis of the redesign and if Ford has fixed the issue. I'm an IT nerd, so I'm out.

Not surprised that you are talking to someone at Ford and they are completely unaware that their employer released the updated TSB almost 2 weeks ago.

Mine was supposed to go in but the parts not arrived yet.

My dealership told me the only way to get the new designed axles now is only if have a broken bolt, because of the limited supply. So, here again, every Ford dealership seems to be doing their own thing. So congrats to those who got the new axles/hubs. I now have axle envy

New! REASON FOR THIS SUPPLEMENT Parts Availability for final repair Update: • Parts for the final repair for this program are now available in very limited quantities. • Owner letters will be mailed the week of May 12, 2025, to provide updated part availability.
At this time, the repair is only being completed on vehicles that have the bolts sheared off.

I'm not very surprised at either the lack of consistency between the dealerships, nor the restraints early on due to inventory.

Since I'm outside the recall dates I guess I'll have to put the original bolts back in and snap them off one at a time for warranty repairs.

My truck was completed today and it had both bolts intact.
