You’ve gotta run in all electric to see PowerBoost benefits. Running above 55mph, and certainly at 70mph, have no beneficial use of electric and mileage increase. At those speeds, you might as well consider you are running a standard EcoBoost.
For my model year 2022 the EB and PB have identical EPA hwy mpg numbers at 23. The PB is just smoother and more powerful thanks to the huge torque advantage.

Edit: Ok it’s 14% more torque. The EB is so impressive to start with lol

Edit edit: 70 ft/lb and 30hp ready to go while still getting EB highway mileage! Unicorn indeed

12,000 miles 24 Powerboost Platinum. 295 65 20 on vossen forged wheels crew cab 6.5 bed . I drive without pushing the engine at all. Overall 16.7 MPG. Highway 75 cruise 15.2.

Love the engine and have had a 2015 3.5 2019 3.5 2020 3.5 all did about 17.8 average.

I cannot believe anyone who is getting that kind of mileage out of this truck. the tires may knock it down a bit but not like I see on the forums. This is a truck with a large ICE and a small battery. Weight 6700 dry

“ Highway 75 cruise 15.2”

First off, changing the tires and the wheels will add to the weight, rolling resistance, and likely height (wind resistance) of the truck, lowering MPG. Second, anything over about 70MPH will result in lower MPG as you push a large front end through that wind resistance. Instead of not believing others when you yourself changed all the parameters of the test to the negative, try replicating their test with the stock truck at lower highway speed. Or do like I did, accept that adding weight, rolling resistance and speed are an acceptable trade off 😜. When I had the truck stock, I too got 22-24 MPG mixed driving between city and 65MPH.

2023 PB 501a 4x4 short bed 7.2KW. PL=1658lbs.
Yeah, not believing, isn't a reasonable thing, when there are this many people involved and so many of them are showing pics.

Someone recently posted Fuely (?) data, comparing PB, to EB and 5.0. I don't recall how many trucks but more than are represented here.

I never got horrible mileage but it takes a while for it to break in. I was at or over 10K miles before it really started getting sweet and topped 30mpg on a few trips.

Normally, I run Tier 1, 87 octane and my stock tires and wheels, are at 40+psi, rather than 36. Higher, if I'm towing.

I might have 100lbs. of gear and mods from stock and I'm ~220.

I use all the bells and whistles, tried Eco mode and didn't find the difference to be worth the hassle of turning it on each key stroke. I do generally drive conservatively, at the speed limit and watching the powerflow meter gives me a kick. Especially when in electric mode and momentum charging at the same time. Shades of perpetual motion, at least in those moments. Gently rolling terrain, is where this thing shines the best. If you live in the dead flat, you're not gonna see what this thing can do.

Outside temps, matter more than seasonal blend, or octane grade. For me, all else equal, <20F will drop mpg by 5ish, to the mid to upper teens, from lower to mid 20s. The only thing I can do to hurt mpg more, is romp on it a lot, or towing.

Cold / Winter kill my MPG. If I'm around town and can hit green lights when it is 55+ I can often get into the high 20s low 30s for trips 6-7 miles in length. Warm weather MPG in suburban driving is honestly superb for me. I've seen 35+ a couple of times even

Even most highway trips around 70-75 I seem to be able to get 21-23. Headwind/Tailwind seems to be the biggest factor here.

Winter though it goes in the toilet. Seeing under 20 is not uncommon. Even those same trips above where I might hit upper 20s I often end up around 20-21. I assume running ICE more to get cabin heat, making sure the battery pack is at a good running temperature, and batteries are less efficient when cold.

I'll have to double check since been awhile but lifetime (13,500 miles) I last think I was averaging around 24.5 overall, which to me, is incredible. Huge truck, pushes lots of air, powerful engine. I've got a relative with a Lexus V6 large sedan and they do several MPG worse than I do. Ha.

Oh and definitely find that EV Coach screen where it shows the power and braking bar on your display. Helps a lot to keep regen braking in the green zone and then if accelerating you can often get the electric bar right up to the edge before kicking the ICE on. Makes a difference for sure.

I drive spiritedly and average just above 20mpg. Stock tires at 40psi. Minor weight add mods like bed cover/mudguards/liners.

Central Florida mostly and tier 1 premium fuel.

If I slowed down a bit I’d be right at the window sticker predicted avg.

Noticed pedal push seems to have been adjusted with a recent software update. It's easier to stay in electric from a stop now. Mileage has also gone up over the last tank. Anyone else notice? Just rolled 50k

Powerboosts get horrific miles to the gallon while the engine is warming up. At only 130 miles on the truck, you haven’t hardly driven it yet!

I will get ~17mpg in the morning if I am driving <6 miles or so. Once the engine is warm, the same trip would get me at least 26mpg
True story, it's cold here 10 mostly and getting 16 and drive 6 miles. On way home is 35 degrees and I get 22 mpg 😅 they don't like cold. That's for sure.
