Anyone got the new 22-PU1010-MIL-OL update after 3.5.4? Got the one of the trucks updated overnight. Seems like it adds the Ford 75th year logo on FordPass too. 👀 2022 Ford F-150 Lariat

**unsure if it’s related but thought I’d add it just in case; getting conflicted answers.

I've had this "75 F-Series" logo for a bit now... Maybe a week. Funny, cuz I only turned on auto update to get the full screen Android and still nothing — seems something to do with my phone because the wifes iPhone gives us full screen carplay.

Auto update and wifi is off now.

Will probably update everything using my mongoose controller come summer, or if I hear of another big update.

android auto got another update, 2nd in 2 weeks and now my MME tiles are way different. Going to go see if it's done anything to the F150 which is in pieces at my office.

Try updating your android auto through the play store. I found the 2nd update in 2 weeks in it and it's revamped my MME considerably.

Literally just looked yesterday, and no updates. Looked just now, and update available. Not going to run downstairs to see if it worked, but I bet it did!

I got 3.5.4 on 2/6/23. I've seen nothing to indicate I've gotten 22-PU1010-MIL-OL . However my Ford Pass has been updated to include the 75th Anniversary emblem.
I also got 3.5.4 on the 6th, and while I have not gotten this update, I did get 22S17 yesterday. That makes three updates this week.

For those of you guys who got 3.5.4 within a couple of days of getting 3.5.3, do you leave your wifi on or have it off?

I received 3.5.3 on 2/7 after it showing pending for a week or so. I turned wifi off and got the update that same night.

I'm trying to decide if I leave wifi on or off going forward.

I have mine on, always connects automatically when I get home since I have a really fast wifi network plus the wifi covers past the driveway and backyard; I don’t have any network lose whatsoever. Always updates overnight. Both trucks are scheduled at 2am everyday.

It doesn't matter. As long as you have a good connection, OTA's do not seem to favor one or the other to download the update files.

I can't find it anywhere, but is there documentation somewhere that says how many of the 5 signal bars (in the Hotspot menu) the truck must have to receive an OTA over the cellular connection? Does this sound familiar?

No, I've never heard of a minimum requirement of bars needed. As far as I know, the update gets sent and if your connection sucks, too bad for you.

Just got priority update 22-PU1010-MIL-QL, two days after 3.5.4.

Feb 3 - 3.5.3.2
Feb 7 - 3.5.4
Feb 9 - 22-PU1010-MIL-QL

Haven’t noticed anything substantial. My gauge cluster appeared to be reset to full brightness and I gained 50km in my distance to empty 😋

Looks like you got one of the OTA updates Ford quietly notified NHTSA about in December but has evidently taken awhile to distribute. It’s an update to the BCM:

December 8, 2022 MANUFACTURER COMMUNICATION NUMBER: 22OTAPU1009TLCC
Components: BACK OVER PREVENTION

NHTSA ID Number: 10228957
Manufacturer Communication Number: 22OTAPU1009TLCC
Summary
Priority Update 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM for 2021 F-150 vehicles is now available. Quality improvements include:

- improvement to trailer license plate lights illumination.

- improvement to interior motion sensor alarm to prevent inadvertent alarms.

- enhancement to prevent alarm activation durring inhibit OTA updates.

I also received 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM today after getting 3.5.4 on Jan. 28.

3 updates in 4 days for me too. I guess the Ford mothership got a memory upgrade. ☢

So I got the 22-PU1010-MIL-QL update a day or two after 3.5.4 within the past week. The truck told me it was just a trailer module fix, so I didn't expect much. I have been very pleasantly surprised to find that my shifting has been MUCH smoother and ICE/EV transition slightly improved since this update. I think the truck is getting a hair more EV range, as well (based on EV Coach). Finally, the shifting algorithm seems greatly improved on the highway, and I haven't noticed any turbo vibration/shudder under light throttle at highway speeds for the past few days!

So I'm confirming that this latest update implements some serious drivability improvements that make that truck much more comfortable. I'm a 2022 Job 1 guy, Btw (built Jan 2022).

EDIT: I did have to restore all my radio presets, gauge cluster settings, motion sensor settings, and Eco Idle setting after the install. I guess it ran my battery down pretty low. Definitely worth the hassle!
