New OTA 3.5.3.2 Software being pushed out (This is 3.5.3 but for 2022 model year trucks)

Yesterday I saw that I had 3 5.2.
I received absolutely nothing prior to this happening. No notification on my phone ford pass. no message about it on sync screen no indication in www.fordservice...
I had auto update turned off but it still took.
You guys talk about some icon on the corner of the screen. What abouts thats?

I had sent it to Jessie and he believes it is only for Tremors. Looks like he was right. Shocker. lol

Auto updates will only put an update on hold if it requires the vehicle to be inhibited. Otherwise, the OTA will install regardless.

The icon(s) on the top left will indicate an update downloading or downloaded depending on the status of the OTA. If you got 3.5.2, you should an icon with a check mark next to it. I've had it on my truck for months since I got 3.5.2.

I was on 3.5.1 yesterday morning.
Noon I was on 3.5.2 with no indication.
Checking Ota update 60 day history says "update campaign final failure " it was trying to upload 3.5.3.2. Will try again later.
Update status log states
For half an hour (vehicle activation start) followed by (OTAM conditions not met).
Five tries for 30 min until it says (vehicle inhibit error) ending up with current update campaign final failure.
Besides that there was nothing about updates from 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 in last 60 day history. Me thinks I bought this truck used 4k miles and it sat until I started to drive it. I may have had the update already in it but the conditions weren't met. Previous owner never activated anything. Ford pass, modem, any subscription.

Finally updated to 3.5.3.2.... It's nothing special. I'd rather have split screen on car play. Apple Music/Apple Maps, etc.

It is not the BCM update I thought. This is new to the F150 as far as I know. It says it preps you for future updates, so I would not expect anything different.

It is believed by the powers that be to be for Tremors only. The member who reported it drives a 2022 Tremor EB, yet the update details I posted say 2021.

Thanks, ya I saw you had asked Jesse, it's EB and Snakebitten doesn’t see it, sounds like it might be very specific or possibly a slow roll out with others to come, don't know why it says MY21??

No idea. It's the only thing I was able to find when I googled the update to see what I can find out.

It may all be in my head (usually is the case...) but this PCM update seems to have made a noticeable positive impact. Prior to the update, I was consistently having a harsh down shift into 9th and experienced the slight shudder others have reported in 8th, 9th and 10th under certain conditions. Also, seems like downshifts are quicker and smoother overall. Could also just be the adaptive shift tables being reset but so far I'm pretty pleased. Odd this is only targeting Tremors, will be interesting to see if other trims receive as well.
