It sloppily shows some of the things I can see. Once you learn how to decipher it, you can figure out your own OTA status. 90%-95% of the VIN check requests made on here can be answered using this loophole.

Looks like my OTA update to 3.5.3.2 is scheduled between 2/1 through 2/8. Might go throw the battery charger on for good luck lol

Thanks for the answer. BTW, is the charged battery issue for all trucks or just the lightning? I’ve rarely given thought to my battery and only had 1 jump in over 10 years.

No coolwalk for me yet though

Between a yes / no answer the answer is yes. The SOC ; as in the battery state of charge should be close to 80 percent. Not always the case but many members have indicated that the SOC seems to make a difference . My 2 cents worth FWIW

Yes, it can affect any and all OTAs. With that said, I have not seen one of these recent updates being pushed out fail due to battery conditions yet. Not according to PTS error codes anyway.

Same here, had the 3.5.3 installed on Tue and 3.5.4 installed overnight.
I was thinking maybe they are dispersing by location, but you being from Missouri and me from New Jersey put that theory to rest.

SSL connect error sounds to me like your GWM didn't approve the update to install for some reason. When an update fails due to low battery, the error code will clearly tell you that is the reason for failure. I have yet to see one of these recent updates fail due to a low SOC.

Tap on the arrows next to the Android Logo at the bottom. However, you are still waiting on a Google update to utilize full-screen maps. But you do have full-screen Android Auto.

so how can I force the google update? when I click on the arrows all that happens is that usless RS panel changes from from ford crap to a big black clock and map size stays the same size.

I updated my Android Auto app manually to 8.8.x on my Samsung Galaxy S8 by downloading the APK from APKPure.com. That had Coolwalk enabled and allowed full screen Maps after I got the Sync 3.5.4 update the other day.
