Ok thank you so much guys. I think if I skip the tailgate step / bed utility, stay with 18" wheels, I can land closer to 1600 and make this work.

my XLT 302A has the 18” wheels and bed utility with 1569lbs. I think the bed utility adds 40 lbs if my memory serves me correctly. If so, you should be just over 1600, if you do not get the bed liner. However, if you add it afterwards, you still lose the payload and you will be back under 1600.

Same list that I linked. It helps, but is incomplete.
As I noted elsewhere, my payload estimate was over 1800# and as high as 1850# using payloads from very similar trucks to mine. Sticker- 1787# which was some lower than my estimate. I attributed to 20” wheels/tires which are standard on 2023 King Ranch (maybe +40-50#).

Well I am glad to report that my payload came in pretty decent.

Unfortunately this is because as you may have already deduced, it's not a PowerBoost. The financial outlay and delivery timing uncertainty proved too much to bear when a sweet looking, mint condish 157" 2019 EcoBoost 3.5 popped up locally for nearly half the price of a granger PB order.

Has some doohickies that I could really live without, like FX4, power-adjust pedals, rear slider window, bed step and bed utility. But none of the options are quite so critical on a 7050 gwvr gasoline truck, so I might as well enjoy them, eh.

So I guess this isn't my forum after all, bummer. Still wish there was an equivalent 13th gen forum of similar concise expertise. Kudos to y'all and enjoy the crap outta yer 14th gens!

Thinking my truck would be lowest payload PB had I gone for the 7.4 kw .Surely it would weigh at least 30 pounds more then the 2.4 kw on the truck
