Just received a call from my local Ford Service Advisor. His tech that was working on my truck was reportedly getting no help from FoMoCo. THANKS FORD! (insert sarcasm) The tech did communicate on some kind of shared platform with other techs and they think it may be some kind of PCV/valve cover baffle related problem. They're getting some PCV components as well as a couple of new valve covers and other misc. parts. Hopefully I'll be back on the road soon.

Fingers crossed!

22 days in shop. No truck. No loaner.

Ford, still sucks.

That is a real bummer. This is work day 32 that mine has been in the shop. I am getting a new engine and the dealership started me off with a F150 loaner. I really can’t ask much more from a dealership. If and when they get all the replacement equipment, I will trade them a loaner for my truck. It has been a long lonely time without my own truck.

This sucks. I guess at least you're putting miles on the loaner.

Truck was left at the dealership on June 21. Was told today that they are just waiting for the engine to come in. I have a good dealership and I trust what they are telling me. I guess everything is tight. I do have a F150 loaner.

Thanks for updating the thread. Hopefully your story has a good ending.

Yes. That’s why I inserted this:

CAS-32601803-F0V8M1 CRM:0454034

I’ll be inserting it every subsequent post. Maybe one of their “concerned” employees will stumble across it.

I’m trying everything I can think of at this point. Fakebook, this forum, other forums. Unbelievable. I really don’t think they give a flying fuk.

I can relate to the zero flux given by ford on fixing problems. Worst factory/dealer service ever!

Please keep us updated. I guess I am lucky, if you call being in the shop since June 21. I have a great dealer - they convinced someone in Ford to put a new engine in my truck after only 2818 miles. Have had a F150 loaner since June 21. The dealership is just waiting for the new engine to come in. Wish Ford was faster, but I sure don’t find any fault with the dealership.

Will do. I really don’t understand why the F-150 is the number one selling truck. It ain’t for the service after the sale!

I know the feeling. I've had 135 pre-collision assist errors since March. First dealer was a bunch of idiots all they did was hook it up to the computer and say everything is fine no issues because they were unable to think for themselves and only did what ford or the computer told them. Showed them my 45 errors on my phone their reply we don't see them cant help you.

Second dealer is better they replace a control board and that broke my truck at least it doesn't ding every 10 seconds but now I dont have adaptive cruise, regular cruise, lane centering or pre-collision. Benn this way going on 3 month and the front camera they want to change out is on indefinite back order.

Buyback was initiated last week unfortunately.
