New car smell / leather

When your truck got delivered, and up until now, has the 'new car smell' (read: bunch of chemicals) been offensive to you? For those with an all leather interior, did it smell of leather much?

I'm a bit sensitive to odors and have had to vent some of my previous new cars prior to driving them.

I thought it smelled great, but I am not sensitive to that like some.

I'm right there with you Jean. I also have a sensitive nose and noticed a slight different pungent odor with this new truck compared to previous vehicles. Probably due to different kind of materials. I have had my truck for a month and a half now and smells have pretty much disappeared. Enjoy the Ride.

Don't get me wrong, I actually do love (who doesn't?) the new car smell. It's just that, in the past, some of my new cars have been worst than others and have had this very chemical odor to them, which made me nauseous.

I see no complaints here so far, so I'm hoping for the best

I felt this car has less of a new car/leather smell than previous new cars I have bought. Actually disappointed that I don't get to revel in that new smell longer.

Bummer eh? I love the smell of fresh, new leather. Depends on the leather quality in the car too. Brand new 500 series Mercedes leather smell is much different from a Mazda synthetic 'plether', obviously. I ordered a Platinum, and I'm assuming (hoping!) that the seats are actually real leather, and not some cheap imitation.
