Navigation Connection Issues

I have a 2021 F 150 Lariat Power Boost with sync 4. I just started seeing this message today every few minutes when I setup a new route. Does anyone know what I might be able to check to resolve the problem?

Have you had anything done recently? That would appear to be related to antenna. You can go into the tech menu and see if it has signal. The easiest way to check is settings vehicle hotspot. There is a Cell phone style signal strength status at the top right. look at that and see what it says.

I received the truck on 9/30/21, so I should still be covered on the cellular plan.

Ok yeah and you have connected services. Those arrows going up and down and the triangle means youre connected.

The att trial plan is 90 days or 3GB I am not 100% sure if it is required for the connected services. Lariat should have 3 years of services for free.

Currently the system is working fine. But for a good portion of our 2,500 mile trip we had a number of connectivity issues. The other two are in the attached screen shots. We already had an appointment for the truck for Monday to get an Oil Change and some recall work completed. I am hoping there is a trouble code that will be saved to help pinpoint the issue.

Yeah. The nav error is a bad sign. Looks like you may need a apim replacement. I am always skeptical of them replacing parts but in your case it’s is most likely required.

Talked to the dealer today and they send the APIM is not throwing a code so they can’t do anything about it.

Wha!? It doesn’t throw a code for maps missing. That’s totally insane. Dealers are beyond inept.
THEY MAKE ME WANNA SMOKE!
