So this is the connector under the glove box, Ive tried to take this apart, anyone have insights on this connector?

Thats not a connector, its a placeholder if you will. You do not need that part if you are following what has been posted.

on an unrelated note.... I took my retrofitted "Connectd Nav/SiriusXM removal" truck in to the dealer for an oil change and also had them run diagnostics because I was experiencing a rough idle which I noticed while making all the changes to the APIM, ACM, GWM, IPC, etc.

Turns out the problem is with the #5 cylinder losing compression. After further inspection, the mechanic discovered a warped/bent/damaged valve. Rather than repairing the cylinder head, the dealer recommended replacing the engine. He thought this better because the truck is only 5 months old and has 8000 miles on it. So now my truck is sitting at the dealership waiting for a new engine. Sorry I can't be of more help. :-/

Yes, sorry should’ve stated that first. My truck is an 22 XL single cab, did the 12” screen and what I think is a Nav apim not sure what the apim came out of. I also did the 12” cluster and ACM.

Perhaps contact Jesse at Infotainment? I am of the opinion that Jesse can sell you the right components for your upgrade.

About to do un-remove SXM from my 2022 using all the fantastic info put together in this thread.
Only question I have is this:
Are the following the correct changes for the 8" or 12" ...or doesn't matter as far as the values. Mine is the 12" and my truck already has a SXM ACM in it from the factory.

these settings pertain to the SDARS enablement and have no bearing on the display size or screen resolution. The only thing you need to look out for is the volume display popup. If your vehicle has the subwoofer like from the B&O sound system, the first digit of the APIM register should be configured to "Log missing DSP Messages" which enables the subwoofer (THX Deep Note). I have the B&O sound system so the first digit of the first hextet in the 7D0-01-01 register is A. (A081-0802-8C cks 90)

Also, please note these values are represented in hexidecimal format (Base 16 - 1234567890ABCDEF). It looks like your APIM register has the letter O in it. It should be a zero (7D0 vs. 7DO). This could just be a typo, but I thought i'd point it out in case you are changing the values by editing the XML. If you are using Forscan, these values are hard-coded.

I'd contact @Jesse-Infotainment if you need to monkey with the screen size or resolution settings. It is my understanding from others on this forum that Jesse is the authority on performing these upgrades.

That looks like a SiriusXM ACM to me, just do the forscan changes and an antenna and should be good

Yes, your SiriusXM radio ID is G2C19EW4.

You can also find this in your as-built file by viewing the file in XML format.

I have read you need to change 727-01-01 and 7D0-01-01 but I have also read you just need to change 727-01-01 can anyone confirm what needs to be changed. I have 727-01-01 B828 01F1 0002 right now/ 7D0-01-01 0001 0002 8C68. Thank You for any advise you can give. Thanks!
