I installed that one on my dash right now.
I think that is your problem. I had tried a cheap antenna from amazon first and it did not work well at all, cut in and out all the time, placed my antenna on the roof and bingo all worked. get the antenna installed.

THe oem ford antenna is on the dash (NOW ROOF)

Could it be the cable I’m using? I got it from Amazon

Is this connector the xm one under the dash?

also, it doesn’t look like there’s any way to remove the connector to get the portion of the antenna out to stick to the roofline. I’ve installed the antenna and connected to the cables shown in this post above.

Have the orignal antenna hangin in rear as it doesnt seem like you can get the silver connector thry the antenna base.

a couple of your photos did not come through so hard to know exactly what you have going on. You ordered a new roof antenna that has Sirius xm correct? if you drop your headliner, you unbolt the old antenna, taking the bolt completely off, I used a 10 mm ratcheting wrench so I did not have to have as much room. Then when the bolt is out completely you pop the top portion off. the new antenna will then pop down into that hole and you tighten the bolt. The antenna connection points are in the rear passenger side cab corner, you make the swap there. That is prerun to the curry connector that you have shown behind the glove box. If you havent dropped the headliner and installed that antenna, then that curry port is dead and runs to nothing.

All done,

Installed the new antenna.
Ran the cable from the ACM to the Glovebox connection, still shows loading. Only other thing I can think is to pull an as built on a 23' XL with Sirus try that.

Here is what I have done

I have the old antenna still connected sitting in headliner as XLT mentioned.

Also is there anything I can do to remove the origianl right antenna?

I have it in the headliner, i have the splitter cable but the connector doesnt fit for the in cab blue connector.

Its female instead of male at the splitter, truck is female.

AS built from that same truck compare to the FORSCAN Shete IDK what the differences are, This has to be something silly.

There are some as-built differences. That's why in the OP I stated the values I changed with the qualifier that you need to check what your original values are and compare them.

So it certainly seems like the 7 to 7 and 7D0 fields need to match the current model year you were working on. I basically went back to an XLT 22 said reread things took my time. See you there has built before changes.

727-01-01 - 382B 00F1 0084
7D0-01-01 - 2001 0802 8C90

these are what I changed. But initially my 727 values weren’t that.iirc they weren’t that value in the first posts either.
The whole my computer mentality kicked in and decided to scan through the forscan spreadsheet to tell me what the difference of the values meant. That way I was able to pull the data to make sure that I had the same information on my build.

after first value change I rebooted the truck.
Second value changed rebooted.
Then cleared the DTCs and verified.
I still don’t know what the splitter I bought is for.

anyone know if the 75 cm fakra cable will reach from the acm to the glovebox ? My current cabke is 10’ I’d like to change that.

I assume it’s female to female?

Yes you need a female to female connection from the ACM to glove box. I would think you could get by with someone about 12" at minimum. What you show in the photos is plenty long enough.
