But why pull the Sirius acm if I’m loading the defaults anyway from forscan?

I believe it is to get every thing working as original from the factory and then start over one step at a time.

If it is all original with the original ACM and working then it eliminates that the problem is not elsewhere.

With the link I provided, I have read there is a way to import the data from Fords site into FORScan?
I have not done it so can not confirm.

But you can do line by line comparison and manually make changes

Can you give us all the details of you truck? You may of mentioned them but there is a lot of info to wade through.
Trim level, original stereo, screen size etc.

Most of us had a very simple time with this but there is some thing different In your case? You had to switch ACM's most of us had an XM ready in place to start with.

Just noticed you are in NJ my home state (left in my mid 20') but got to ask what exit? I was 14A.

Next steps to get xm to load?
DTC Shows errors will that stay present?
Also showing trailer brake system fault now.

Does your FM/AM radio work? Did you connect an XM antenna? Are you in a garage or out in the open when it is loading?

Open been drivign around for about 40 minutes no change
Rebooted unit no change
Spoke to XM updated VIN no change
Resent signal no change
FM AM No problems.
I have the OEM antenna but if antenna wasn't detected should say no antenna no?
I have the oem antenna on the dash which should work fine.

You gave them the radio ID not the vin correct?

Gave them the radio ID with my UPDATED VIN.

Mine said this until I connected the antenna wire to the back of the unit and then it said antenna problem because I had not installed the roof antenna yet. You did connect the antenna to the back of the radio correct? Just trying to cover everything.

I would reboot the radio, hold down power and right seek until it reboots.

Looking back in my case after the Forscan changes and connecting the antenna I was able to get the preview channel.

I then had to call in and register the unit with Xm.

Yes no antenna you should get “antenna problem”

Try pulling the fuse or unplugging the electrical connection for 10 minutes then plug in and power up.
