I did not opt for the towing mirrors on my truck as 1) they're ugly, 2) I don't tow that often and 3) they block my field of vision. Back in 2002 when I bought my first RV I purchased as nice set of Mckesh mirrors with many years and miles of use (good product). Today I pulled my old mirrors out of storage and "voila", they fit and function just as I remembered. The cool part is they easily come off when I'm not towing.. Looking forward to my next RV adventure and I hope this helps someone looking for a solution.
Note: I adhered a patch sheepskin to the door pad.
