I added 1.25" BORA wheel spacers since I made the original post and no regrets yet on the reverse lowering. I will say that I would still be happy if I only did the remove a block or the shackles and not both. That would give me a little more rake for when the bed is loaded down but I rarely do that.

Regarding the spacers if I could do it again I'd go 1" and not 1.25".

I'm about to pull the 4x4 block and install 2" shackles, what's the bed modification?
If you put 2" drop shackles on , the leaf spring will hit the rear bed brace, it has to be cut out a little wider than the leaf spring.

What did you use to measure this?
Tremec app, or any app showing degrees. I did this when setting up the torque arm on my foxbody and checked it against my degree tool and it was practically the same. I’m adding my lift block back though to gain a little back, I need a hair more clearance when I’m loaded down and doing trails.
