My new AMB Limited

I’m gonna use this thread to document my 2021 AMB Limited and the mods I plan to do.

Vehicle arrived at dealership today, 1 day ahead of the published ETA date. Dealer called me to come down and do an inspection. The following pics are the ones I took to document the state of the vehicle pre-PDI. Some pics may seem strange to some but others will know why that particular angle or part was photographed.

My new wheels and tires go on tomorrow and ceramic tint on Friday morning. Then I pick it up assuming the dealership has addressed the axle rust to my satisfaction.

If anyone is interested in a mint set of Limited 22 inch wheel and General Grabber tires let me know. I will probably sell them private sale over the next few weeks.

Good question. I hadn’t really planned on it but will see what it all looks like after PDI and detailing. In my case 2/3 seats will have child seats and a protecting pad between each child seat and vehicle seat so my guess I 1) won’t be able to see them at all and 2) probably get somewhat wrinkled/imprinted from having the child seats cinched down.

Note: Vehicle is super dirty right now because it’s pre-PDI. Will certainly take a lot more pics once it’s clean.

Love it. But I’m very partial to blue (even liked it in the Continental), and I saw it three times at various Houston driving events so I didn’t buy it sight unseen, i.e. I had seen it before several times. First time seeing AMB in person though and really liked that too.

I personally think the admiral blue interior is a great and elegant color for a debut model year launch. Compliments the vehicle well, pairs great with AMB and I’m hoping will also accent well with the Fuel Covert anthracite wheels (also kinda matte/muted silver).

Beautiful truck. Would you mind telling me or taking a pix of the payload sticker? Are you doing aftermarket bed liner vs. factory? Did you go with the lay flat seats? I expect to order mine shortly.

I didn’t take a pic of that today but I’ve taken one before of an identically optioned Limited a few months ago and I wanna say it was 1371 (don’t hold me to that, +/- 10 pounds). I’ll confirm once I get it on Friday.

I am doing Line-X Platinum in a few days and a Black Armour mat as well. Yes, have the max recline seats which you can see in one of the pics (different seat top with the shoulder adjustment).

Great, great, great looking truck. My AMB is due to arrive at the dealer on Saturday. Thanks for the undercarriage photos; now I know even better what to look for.

I just want to understand why Ford is still shipping out trucks with rusted undercarriages when they surely know that it’s an issue now. I realize that it’s nothing major and that it’s just surface rust ....... but on trucks that cost $50-$80k give or take, I’d expect that rust like this shouldn’t be a discussion at all.
