I just received an email from Ford that my 2023 F150 Lariat is scheduled for production October 17th

I ordered a 23 Lariat PowerBoost in Avalanche w/BAP and FX4 on 7/18 - 2 hours after opening. Had a 22 all spec'd out so the dealer just had to transfer to options over. Having family at the dealer helps. I received that email too.

I have that same truck on order minus the FX4. Order date 8/25/22 and I received an email this week with a scheduled build date of 10/17/22. Maybe it will come before the calendar year is out…

I’ve noticed that some higher optioned PB ordered after my date have been picked up for scheduling. I wonder why my order was seemingly not chosen. Is a spray on bedliner really that big of an issue?

I heard they have to drive the truck off-site to do the spray in bed liner so yes it can delay things. Not sure by how much…

Just to let everybody know that ordered a powerboost that the powerboost from the date of 7/11 to now are all on chip hold. Hopefully that doesn’t happen to you guys.

That's one of the first things my sales guy said when I was ordering my PB on Sept 25, 2021. "Dump the spray-in bedliner because it'll delay things and we'll do it here for a better price". Well, that price turned out to be free during negotiations.

I'm not very optimistic about that 10/17 build date notification if everyone else got the same exact date. How many can they possibly build in one day or even week?

I ordered a 2023 Tremor, no spray in bed liner as the dealer advised against it.
