My 2023 F150 build delay

I received this email from Ford yesterday. It says, we understand it has been too long since you last heard from us. Today, they wanted to give you an update on the status of your F-150 Lariat order. Unfortunately, continue supply chain issues are slowing things down. We're working diligently to try and reduce these delays. Now here's our promise to you. We know that waiting for delivery of your Ford is far less fun than actually driving it. So we commit to updating you as soon as we can, at least once every 45 days regarding your vehicle's production schedule status no matter what. Thank you for your patience and understanding

Quite a few here have reported getting that email starting a month or so ago. Every 45 days they say...that's not very frequent unless the wait is a year.

I didn't, I bought a truck someone else ordered and I assume got tired of waiting for while it sat for 4 months waiting for chips and shipping.

Search around a bit. 49% of the threads here are about people waiting for trucks.

I ordered a 2023 8/15 and have not heard anything other than the initial email confirming my order.

MY23 scheduling for production of 10/12 is supposed to have started but I have not heard or one 23 scheduled across the several forums I read. I’m preparing for a LONG wait.

I ordered a 23 Lariat PowerBoost in Avalanche w/BAP and FX4 on 7/18 - 2 hours after opening. Had a 22 all spec'd out so the dealer just had to transfer to options over. Having family at the dealer helps. I received that email too.

Me 2. Ordered July 20th. Don’t plan on seeing it for quite awhile.

Just received an email with build data of OCT 17. It seems they are doing PB first this year.
