My 2023 F-150 AREA 51 delivered & In the Wild

I'm not that big on black wheels or 20s for that matter but both the BAP and standard STX wheels look good on the F-150. I prefer the Tremor and Rattler wheels. My truck has the black sport pkg 18s. That Area51 does look good with the black headlights.

I would've considered getting the Rattler package, but it was already closed out when I put in my order.

When we were considering putting in an order for a 23 vs getting the 22 off the lot, this color was one of the considerations, lol! The 22 we got was the dark grey metallic, which I think still looks great, but Area 51 is very cool in my books. (in the end, the likely delivery delays and extra costs made it a no-brainer).

Carbonized Gray was the only color for ‘22 that I really like, but it is similar to a Fusion that I gave to my daughter. With my x plan discount and another discount my salesman was able to work in it wasn’t much more than a similar ‘22

Super Jealous you were able to get that Color. I was told no, Ford doesn't allow that color on the XLT with the Hybrid. Had to settle for a version of Gray, Black or white. So went with Carbonized Gray. Maybe should have gone with Avalanche, after seeing it in the flesh. I thought it looked just straight up white online but it's actually like a smoky light gray. Almost looks like a flat silver if that makes sense, really cool.

Unless they reopened the orders. But when I was speaking with my salesman in October, he could not select the rattler package as an option. Earlier orders were being taken.

Picked up my ‘23 last night and took it on a duck hunt this morning. Yes this is more than a grocery getter. Although only an XL 101A, it is still a significant upgrade from my ‘09 F250XL I traded in.

I think that’s the most gorgeous color I’ve ever seen on an F150. I was thinking about wrapping mine in a similar color. I can’t believe that is the 23 stock color. Dang! Beautiful truck!
