That drive is about 200 miles for me and it’s maybe 5000 feet of elevation between Truckee and the Bay Area peninsula I’m guessing? I like that I can make it there, drive all over the lake and get back without filling up in Truckee. My gauge says my full range is about 530 miles.. but it doesn’t know where I’m going when it calculates the range :)

when you say you are getting 15/21 which engine do you have? Is it the Electric hybrid powerboost (PB) like mine or the Ecoboost?

I didn’t really want the PB but the truck I found had it and I thought the low end torque was good and the idea of the 7kw generator was interesting, I haven’t used the generator yet.
My full tank reads the same 530. It's the Platinum fx4 max tow powerboost. I did use Genarator in our Texas freeze to run a heater and coffee pot when power was out. I have no issues with power on this truck. I was hoping it would be close to the milage of the diesel like some big auto vlogs on YouTube stated. I'm happy with it. It's much more comfortable than my 16 EB was.

The 3.5 PB is by far the quietest ride I’ve ever had. It’s absolutely silent most of the time. That part I like a lot, my 2017 raptor use to pump some fake engine noise into the cab I think.. not sure but i think..

Anyway - we’re stealing 21Cali’s thread to talk about engines..

I was told that the 2” readylift was due to be back in stock the week after next and then hopefully I’ll put that on, the nitto grapplers and the Weld rims that are sitting in my garage and I’ll post a few photos.

by then the OPs truck will be long sold and this will be the blk/blk platinum thread

Here are the first photos picking up my truck today. I had the shop install the 2” readylift for the 2021 and the same Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.. these are Weld rims with +20 offset.

Everything seems to fit well. The tires hang out only so slightly. Looks good to me, no trimming.

Good looking truck. What size tires?
same as the original poster. I copied his configuration mostly.

so the lift is a 2021 Readylift 2” leveling
The tires are 295/60R20
Nitto Ridge Grapplers
The wheels are Weld Off-road w +20 offset

everything fits, no drama, no trimming.
The ride is still smooth, lane keeping etc all working no problem so far.

when you turn the front tires they come within about a finger thickness to the plastic skirt/spoiler so I think I could have gone maybe 1” taller and maybe 1/2 widerand maybe I would need to trim that skirt just a little, maybe.. I read on some forum the guys tried to fit the 35x12s and didn’t quite make it..

the internet says the ridge grappler is just under 34”

The 295/60R20 Nitto Ridge Grappler has a diameterof 33.94", a width of 11.77", mounts on a 20" rim and has 612 revolutions per mile

Folks - has anyone tried to fit a 295/60R20 spare tire under your truck?
I put these tires on like the original poster of this thread.

They look great. I love them and now I want to address the spare tire situation. I still have whatever was stock on my platinum F150 under the truck as a spare. I think I should swap that for a matching tire.

I assume the stock tire/spare will no longer work or be useful if I'm running these 295/60R20 right?

Also I guess I'll need to buy an extra rim? Since the rims I have are +20 and I think the originals are +44 offsets (i think)..

Does anyone have any advice or experience with this configuration? If I don't buy an additional +20 offset rim, I'm pretty sure the +44 offset with this larger 295/60 tire will still fit on the back of the truck if there is a flat on a back wheel... so i guess worst case scenario if you get single flat on a front tire is that you need to swap a rear tire to the front and put the spare with a +44 offset rim on the back.. if you don't want to buy a new/extra rim. although I guess i could just carry a +24mm spacer and solve the problem that way.

I'd like to know if the 295/60 even fits under the truck as a spare?
[UPDATE] I just crawled underneath to look. its really tight in there. Can't see how a 295/60 would fit.

anyone know?

Can anyone provide the cost of install for the 2” leveling kit? They look great!

I paid $475 for the 2.25 with install and alignment
I figured mine was a little high but they could handle it right away, give me a loaner, roll it into the loan and no warranty concerns.

Is that the stock exhaust? I have a 2021 Platinum 3.5EB and I replaced the exhaust with a Magnaflow catback, but yours sounds louder than mine. LOL. My old 2019 Limited had a louder magna flow and I am thinking there is something wrong with what I put in. Almost like they shipped the wrong muffler with it or something.

The truck isn’t that loud in person. The video might be making it sound louder than it actually is.

Gotcha. I wanted mine a little louder just not loud enough to annoy my neighbors lol. Well maybe I want to annoy some of them. I'm still waiting for more engine and suspension mods to come out. It's a real bummer that there are no tuning options for the 2021's. My 2019 Limited had the HO Ecoboost. I had it tuned, air intake, and catback put on. It was a beast sitting around 550hp. I'm not complaining about the 3.5EB but I feel the power difference.
