Are you running the stock shocks in the rear or Bilstein's ?
Stock right now but I'm thinking about changing them. The rear bounces and its really noticeable.

Very very nice. I love that you kept the stock 18” Sport wheels. These look great on this build!
Thank you. I ordered those wheels because I liked them and thought they fit the iconic silver really well.

Would you say it's a rougher ride at all or just as smooth?
It's much smoother. The struts absorb the bumps instead of floating over them. If that makes sense? The ride is better than stock.

No fitting issues? I see it says it won't work with the 2021.
That's correct. I ordered for a 2020 with the same configuration as my truck. The shop had no issues installing them. I was fairly confident they would work since other manufactures (Rancho for one) list 2021 in their fully assembled strut packages. I think they range from 2015 up to 2021.
EDIT:
This is what I ordered from Autoanything.com

I have the 5100 front and rear kit coming along with eibach springs. Should allow me to get around 2.5”. Nice temporary/low buck solution to hold me over until Icon releases updated kits.

it looks good paired with the tires!

I almost bought the 5100’s for the rear when I got the 6112’s in the front. Looking back on it now, I wish I would have. The front rides so much better now that it makes the rear feel like a lumber wagon. I will be upgrading soon.

wait a minute you give the part number and then say 2020 f150. I think 2020 and 2021 are different setups. What year truck are these on? 2020 or 2021

Pleas excuse my ignorance but what is the main benefit of installing this suspension upgrade? This is my first truck and I’ve never modified cars before.

Also, can I keep the stock rims/tires with this kit or will I have to replace the tires?

Thanks

I ordered for a 2020 but they went on my 2021. There’s only a few manufacturers that added 2021’s to their list of years they fit.

This was done to improve the ride, reduce the rake (front sits lower than the rear) and add bigger tires. You can keep your stock wheels and tires or you can upgrade. That’s totally up to you.

I put the 6112’s on my last F150 and they do really improve the ride. It is a bit stiffer than stock but the front end of the truck feels much more planted to the ground. Good example is stock suspension over rough road at highway speed would make the front suspension compress and rebound fast enough it didn’t feel like the tires were on the road and you could feel the shaking/instability in the steering wheel...almost felt like front end was floating. Bilsteins took that completely away. Money well spent.

I paid around $1000 in Canada and put them on myself. Wouldn’t recommend doing it when adding more than 1 inch of lift without proper tools. Pretty much took all I had to compress coils enough to change out shocks and get 1 inch of lift.

Your truck looks so good I'm wondering why I'm waiting on the tremor!

Lol, thank you. I'm assuming its for the skid plates. Or that fancy orange accent.

Looks good but I don't think I'd go that big because it sacrifices too much travel, making any kind of moderate off-roading impossible. However, if you don't go offroad or only do mild stuff, it should be fine. Also, that's a 34.3 inch tire, 2.2 inches more than OEM. I'm curious, did the installer re-calibrated your speedo/odo? If not you're off by nearly 5 MPH at 70 which is a lot.

That said, I'm a big fan of Bilstein shocks and will probably install the 6112/5160 kit on my upcoming XLT supercab, with 295/65R18s (Edit: chnaged my mind on the size). It's a great setup that offers a nice balance between on-road comfort and off-road capability.
