What up gang…thought I’d share my new truck. Long story short: had an Oxford white on order with Ford, but got frustrated after 5 months of waiting and no end in sight. Flew to Colorado from SoCal last weekend to pick this beauty up and drove it home. Has everything I had on my order except for the work surface, that I probably never would have used anyways. In the 4 days I’ve had her, here’s what I’ve done:

Icon Rebound 17” wheels
Falken Wildpeak AT3 285/75/17
Eibach ProTruck coilovers set at 2”
Rear blocks removed
Truxedo Sentry CT tonneau
Bulletliner bedliner
Ronin shorty antenna
Ikonic fender badges
Front and rear emblem overlays
Ceramic 35% tint on front windows
Vinyl tint on clear section of tails and third brake light
Removed active air dam and trimmed valence
Removed FX4 stickers
Yellow Lamin-X vinyl on fogs.
Waiting on AVS in-channel visors to come in.
Have an RCI bedrack that I’ll be putting on as well.

May put on a RTR skid plate and debating on raised matte black letters on the tailgate, or go with the Air Designs appliqué.

Thanks for looking!

Bushwacker OE flares are also on the list.

Looks great! Love the wheels & tires.

I’m curious what you think of the coilovers.
I’m planning to get a set of coilovers for my Powerboost (whenever it arrives) for the main purpose of improving stability/firming up the ride. (I don’t believe the stock suspension was tuned for the added weight of the Powerboost battery/drivetrain. Not a fan of floaty suspensions.)

Why did you go with the Eibachs? How are they riding? Any impressions compared to stock (not the you kept the stock suspension for long)?

Thanks! I went with Eibach for 3 reasons:

1. I’d read that the spring rates they use are not as heavy as Fox (which lots of people claim to be too stiff) but not as light as stock. Don’t quote me on the numbers, but something like 500 pounds vs, stock which is like 400 and Fox which are 600. They appear to be right in the sweet spot.

2. I’ve been using Eibach stuff since my early days in the import scene, which is close to 25 years now, and have always been impressed. They actually make the springs that Fox/Rousch uses on their coilovers, along with lots of other OE manufacturers.

3. They’re local to me and have been long-time supporters of motor sports in SoCal. They host a big open house party every year that’s a ton of fun.

So far Im in love with the ride. Definitely got rid of that floaty feel going over bumps on the freeway, and less body roll in turns, but still a smooth luxury-feeling ride. Looking forward to seeing how they perform off road.

I was guessing they were more than 6, looks just right though.

Yeah, I was originally dead set on an offset closer to stick…like a +20 or higher, but stumbled on these for sale locally and the guy had them on a F150 and it looked great. Really happy with how they look on my truck.

Nice work - I was in the same spot (waiting forever on a F-150 order) and found a truck in NC and drove it across country - just after it was updated with BlueCruise). Anyway, my active front damper is not working properly. . . any chance you want to sell me the two main plastic parts?

Cheers,
Thad

Sorry man…it would be expensive as hell to ship and I’d rather hang onto them just in case.

Understood - no problem.

Hey - would you mind pointing me to where you got the vinyl tint for the clear light sections?

Mahalo!

Sure thing, just search on Amazon for “vvivid air release smoke vinyl” and it should come up.
