Planning to drive out to the island in the fall from the center of Canada. Have drive this a couple of times over the year. Always enjoy the view.

In Banff, it’s fun seeing the mountain decor and all the maple treat options.

The Hoodoos are interesting to go see. Search reveals that they are tall, slender rock formations that result from erosion, often characterized by a softer lower section capped by a harder, more resistant layer.

The gondola at Banff is truly a must see. Lots of history there to about the explorers

Scenery at the top is continually changing with the weather patterns rolling through. We couldn’t see hardly anything when we first arrived but then it started changing.

While in Banff take some time to hit the local hot springs to work on those sore muscles from all your fun!

Taking a hike from downtown to Bow falls is a relaxing time with different things to see.

Out of Banff, I headed down the road to Lake Minnewonka. Had there been enough time it would have been nice to take one of the boat or fishing trips.

I have to say, driving around Alberta, I saw F150s everywhere. Canadians seem to love these trucks.
