Morimoto taillights install - plug and play or requires Forscan?

Im Thinking about getting the new Morimoto led taillights. I have a 2021 XLT 302A with led headlight but halogen taillights. Will I have to use forscan to get them to work properly or are they true plug and play?

There's several images in the linked thread. Surprised you started a new one. Keep in mind the reverse lamp's illumination is about 10% or so of stock. It's not only much less light, it's in a very tight beam that illuminates the sky more than it does the ground directly behind the truck. I'd be surprised if it even met a legal requirement for reverse lamp illumination. It's really bad.

Reverse lights? They suck to put it nicely. Parking lights are the outer perimeter portion of the housing shown on in the picture above. The 2 crystal looking things inside the housing at the top/bottom are the brake lights / blinker and illuminate bright red. They'd be really decent lights had the reverse not been dog poo.

1 each installed w/ reverse on pointing at a wall, each one is then covered.

I ended up getting rid of them. Hyperflashed. So smoked factory tails.
Morimoto had no fix.
