Last year I bought what to me is the Jesus of mowers. I have about 3 acres to mow, with a metric shit ton of trees on a bunch of it. I went full retard and bought a Gravely 72" with the 38.5 hp Kawasaki. The warranty info doesn't even mention noncommercial use, it's just assumed that the machine is on a mowing crew. I don't want to screw around with having to work on a mower in the middle of the job. This thing ought to outlast me.
Damn nice machine, I was looking at one last year. Decided my Lazer Z was fine for my needs and I’ve got it to a good point now. The Gravely is a nice mower, but ya pay for it

A lawnmower seems like a good application to make electric.
Certainly for a smaller application it is. Another benefit of a lean green mowing machine is it takes up less floor space because it can be stood up! Could never do this with my prior petro machines.

2nd others, don't mix oils. You can just use the oil in the next oil change by buying the rest of it or use it in the mower. Oil formulations of the exact brand can vary by year so I wouldn't even use a 2yr old identical bottle with a new one.

It might seem trivial, but the ratios of the additives are made to work together. If you mix 2 oils you end up with lower ratios based on the mix resulting in a bastardized additive package with none of the ratios it was designed to. It could end up only marginally worse, or much worse. Lubrication engineers say quite specifically "don't do that". Think of it like mixing two completely different recipes. Mixing any ratio of steak chili and potato salad won't yield a better version of either.

F150, plus anything that fits in it or is towed by it, for the most part
I thought it was an electrical code site?😂

Why is the concrete cracking? Do you live in a flood plain?

Nope. When I had the asphalt driveway replaced with concrete the contractor drilled into the garage foundation to tie it into the new driveway with bars. Within months this caused it to crack as things settled. Big mistake in my opinion. That was 25 years ago. Even though it's only an aesthetic issue I have been considering repairing it.

I guess I would be worried about water seeping in below the concrete. Are asphalt driveways common in Mass? I would have thought its too far south for asphalt.

Edit: On second glance that looks like an asphalt / concrete mix driveway.

Retired and not looking. The wife is looking for me.
How one buys Valvoline instead of Pennzoil "by mistake" will remain one of life's little mysteries.

Mix 'em. Match 'em. Turn them upside down. Turn them right side up. This is not a Formula One car revving at 10,000 rpm. Ford uses synthetic blends as it is. That is what is called for on your truck.

No, the oils will not turn into blobs by mixing them. No, the oil will not have some form of chemical reaction. The only reaction you can expect from mixing oils is on this thread.

Mix them to get rid of the oil. Then don't make the same mistake twice (one of life's little mysteries). Your engine will never notice anyway. The only others that will know this is us guys on the thread.

I'm not talking.

Thank you for the good information.

Live life and not make the same mistake again. To be true to myself, I will say that I sort of recall thinking it said "Highway Mileage" and did not read the label correctly.

I understand the current predicament is entirely my fault and the there really is not such thing as "highway mileage" motor oil.

I have learned from my error. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

I have rarely mixed brands, so other than residual oil in the engine I nearly always ran a full system. However there were a few times where I had to add another oil than the system had in it. Never had a problem.
