Mirror Question

Couldn't find anywhere else to ask this and just curious. Would have to drive to dealer and actually talk to a service tech since a phone call only gets a clueless millennial on the phone.

2024 XLT 302A with black appearance pkg:

When does the pictured light illuminate? I have only seen it come on when the emergency flashers are activated.

As far as I know, that is just a turn signal / 4 way flashers light. It's not a running light.

You maybe able to add it as a running light in forscan. I did that on my 22, it does have tow mirrors not sure if that matters.

I believe when you turn on zone lighting that light is used. That light would illuminate if the right side truck zone lighting was turned on.

That large light on the side is the mirror turn signal/hazard light. With turn signals or hazards on it will flash. If you look on the bottom side of the mirror there is an additional LED bulb which is what’s used for the zone lighting

Are you talking about the side "spotlight"? If you have them it should be a button by the headlight switch.

The spotlight is on the side and in the photo you posted. @grayDawg

As was stated, there are two buttons above your headlight controls.

When the buttons are off the spotlight is off.

When the buttons are on the spotlight is on.
