Memory settings for seats, mirrors and steering wheel

I am so particular about having the perfect driving position when I get in my truck, probably from my racing days where everything has to be perfect.
Has anyone noticed that the memory settings do not go back to where you have saved them? little things like seat about an inch away from the setting, steering wheel lower than when I set it to see the full gauges?
Seems like I have to adjust these every 2nd or 3rd time I get in my truck?

Yes I have noticed. Doesn't happen a lot but it does happen.

This has been patchy for me from day one. On a similar note; will memory settings also save the exhaust type chosen, steering wheel configuration?

I wonder if this is related to the FoMoCo H6 AGM battery issue? I was having the same behavior and, now that I've upgraded to a non-FoMoCo H8 AGM battery, I'll be looking to see if things change.

I have found
Once you get in...if you press on. Vice start ..let everything get back to preset
Then start it works better
If it cold or start draws more amps while seat is moving..it will stop
Then you have to press tye preset button again

My beef is why 3 presets.. I don't know 2 others I let drive it.
My wife said it's my truck and has no desire to drive...but I did set 2 as a close position for her

I installed an H8 AGM 2 years ago and nothing changed with memory positions going to back to exact settings.

#1 Me - daily driving
#2 Wife driving
#3 Me - Highway driving on long road trips

Interstate H8 AGM Battery from Costco, $179.99. If you aren't a Costco member, many forum members have gotten great H8 batteries from Walmart for the same price.

I use one of them for power naps on long drives; steering wheel up, pedals away, seat bottom back, seat back flat as possible

Because not all vehicles are only driven by 1 or 2 people.

I use the third memory to position my side view mirrors down so I can see the ground near the rear wheel when backing up. All other settings are identical to the first memory position (so it essentially acts like nothing more than mirror presets).
