Ordering 2024 powerboost which already comes with 3.73 electronic locking axle. Is it worth it to pay $550 Canadian to upgrade it to 3.73 max tow electronic locking axle?

Not worth it on PB, just eats into payload. PB already comes w/ max tow springs and biggest rad.

The max tow adds and additional leaf spring at the rear and includes the trailer brake controller. In past years the electronic locking axle was only available as a separate option that needed to be ordered.

Not correct. Powerboost already has the extra leaf, and multiple tow packages will have the trailer brake controller.

As was stated above, max tow just eats into your payload and isn't worth it on a powerboost.

WRT radiators, even the PB radiator is not enough for high/hot/dry/heavy towing. Full Race is building one, and folks have mentioned that Cold Box is also making one? The current Mishimoto is not PB friendly, and they won't say if they plan to make one.

Word of caution: Full Race ships signature required Fedex. I can drive to the Fedex Houston warehouse from memory now, so if you go that route see if alternate shipping is available from a carrier that will actually leave packages at your house.

You can redirect packages to fedex points like walgreens and dollar general to pick up later in the day.

Most, but not all unfortunately. I've had a few, including some from full race that wouldn't deliver to my Walgreens

Yeah, it's real irritating having to wait around all day for a package.

Yes. The local CVS has given me more than one "Get yourself down here or we're mailing your stuff back" phone call. I spend A LOT of time working out of town, so it's tougher to make that work all the time, but I use it when I can. If that were the issue, it would be pretty tough to fault Fedex for the fact that I work too much. My issue arises from the fact that while I'm home, the Fedex folks walk past boxes delivered by UPS to leave "come to our warehouse to get your stuff" stickers on my door.

Has anyone mentioned Ford’s bungling with the broken axle bolts yet?

It’ll also probably be something that as warranties/recalls aren’t in play anymore that will eat into resale value.
