I am VERY surprised that you can drive with the passenger seat in full recline / flat mode. This is assuming that there is a passenger in the seat in full recline mode. I would think that in an accident you would tend to slide forward under the seat belt, and the shoulder belt would not be doing anything as it'd be attached up high on the side pillar. Air bag would be mostly useless too.I can tell you yes, the passenger seat(not driver seat of course) can be laid down flat while driving. Got this from the Ford drive event in Ga. The girl said they use the heck out of that feature while they are moving the trucks from one even to the other. In fact they fight over who gets to take that truck. Lol
What am I missing?
My wife would LOVE this feature on long trips (safety concerns notwithstanding), but if passenger max recline only works while parked, it would not be used (unless we're making out! ?)
