Apparently the didn't make any money on cars so they stopped making them. The main thing is to see how many they can convert to SUVS/Trucks.

I don't care about Ford's sales numbers as much as my specific sale number...which at 3+ months and no VIN#. Picked up the chip-related news on factory shutdowns in Dearborn and KC yesterday along with a big sigh... December order: I'm thinking June delivery.

I had the same thought. Made and sold over 200,000 trucks, but can’t make the truck I ordered in September and that has been stuck in production for over 6 weeks now. Clearly they can make trucks - apparently more than they have ever made. But can’t make mine...

I hear you and share your pain. 3 months and they were scheduled to build mine next week, the very week when they begin their shut-down. My only solace is that these delays give Ford Engineers a bit more time to fix their software and manufacturing issues (like rust inhibiting paints). Call me naïve, but its all I've got. ;)

The writing is on the wall for every brand.
People just aren’t buying cars like they used to.
Trucks and various SUV’s are in.
