The problem actually seems to have gotten better with more miles, at 7k now. After stopped and in ev mode the truck jumps forward when I let my foot off the brake. It sometimes still happens when warm but almost always when cold.
Additionally when coming to a stop it is almost impossible to be smooth, it feels like the ev motor is engaged then right before a full stop it shuts off. This also mostly happens when the truck is cold.

additionally today and only a few times before when stopped in drive the truck will try to creep forward, not the big jump like many others have with the Aux trans pump. Just a very slight creep and I have to press the brake abnormally hard to stop it from doing so. But at the same time when it does that releasing the brake from a stop is smooth as silk.

anyone experiencing anything similar to this?
23’ plat powerboost, hasn’t been to the dealer for any software updates as I assumed there weren’t any for the 23 yet.

I've seen posts similar regarding the brake pressure needing to be increased to keep the truck from creeping.
I assure you that is not normal.

I can't recall what the remedy was for anyone who experienced this, but I vaguely remember ABS software/hardware being in the mix? Maybe a faulty brake booster/ABS controller. It's a single unit on the Powerboost.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your F-150 concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.

The creep when in EV mode while at a stop is programmed in by Ford. It should not require excessive pedal presure. In developing the Escape Hybrid they initially set it up with no creep when in EV Mode and stopped. I don't recall the rationale but it was determined that zero creep was unsafe and so they programmed in a small amount of creep. My PB is similar. However, excessive pressure is not correct, it should be light pressure only.
