Has anyone put real truck tires on their new 2021? I put then on my 2016 2.7 4x4 f150 because I was pulling a trailer and they seemed to help. I sold that truck to my son but am thinking of just putting them on my new truck when it arrives.

Thoughts?

difference between the new tires and stock is almost imperceptible. I expected that they’d feel much rougher but am pleasantly surprised.

I put new stock sized Michelin Defender LTX tires on my new KR just last week. Same as my last 3 F-150s. Don't do a lot of off-roading anymore, mostly my DD. Love these tires.

My KO2’s are LT rated. I haven’t towed or gone off road yet, but as far as daily driver they are fantastic so far. I can’t tell a difference from the factory Hankook’s.

I am putting LT285/65-20 Geolanders on this week. They will add 60lbs overall compared to the stock tires. I fully expect to see some loss in mpg, but should be happy with the look and road feel.

I put on a set of BFG KO2's and have been getting seat vibrations between 70-75mph... had them road force balanced multiple times, shop even replaced one of the rears, still vibrating.
Anyone else had this issue with LT tires on their 21+ F150?

I put on a set of 20" Michelin "LT285/60R-20 MICHELIN AGILIS CROSSCLIMATE SYMMETRICAL TREAD PATTERN E" due to heavy towing requirements - still get 23.9 mpg in the empty truck (PowerBoost KR). Towing mileage is much worse (5.5 mpg pulling 9,750 lbs). They tires ride great, seem no louder than stock Scorpions, fill out the wheel arches. I'm not a fan of 1/2 ton pickups towing heavy loads despite Ford's claims and specifications, but the tires do provide confidence that the tires and wheels are up to Superduty specs. I don't have a close-up but here's a pic of the truck with the bigger "real" truck tires.

295/60R20- Toyo AT3’s installed with 2” level, much nicer ride than stock with the stiffer tire. Found the stock hankooks sidewalls to soft when cornering (spongey feeling). MPG hit was less than 2mpg.
