Lower dash panel removal

Does anyone know if the dash panel bellow the steering wheel just pulls down from the top and is hinged like it was in the older models? I want to add some switches in it adjacent to factory switches and just want to be sure how to access before I started pulling.

That part to the left that has the headlight switches is part of the whole instrument panel. You can pull off the side piece and then pop out the headlight switches etc. if you just need clearance or to see what you are doing.

Is there specific part/section (airbag side, cluster, radio) you are looking for? The upper IP is about 30 pages long.

I like to remove circled areas and wrap them, 2 by the main instrument panel and the top glove box door. Thanks.

Hey bud. Can you post the diagram on how to remove the cluster glass? I’m looking to remove and blow out behind the glass with air as there is dust on the cluster and it’s driving me nuts. Is this doable? Is this cluster sealed?
