Compared to my 18 sport screw 5.0 my quote for my newly ordered 2021 (same options) yielded a savings of over $400 yearly!!!. (Live in Canada) What gives?!

mine went up $80 a year from 2019 Lariat to 2021 Lariat, my old company increased my premium on the 2019 on renewal a year and a half ago. I called around and CAA had the best rates, I am not even a member, but worth a call could save you some cash,

i'm in Niagara region. my 2017 f-150 was $1000/yr with TD, 2020 f-350 went up to 1,400/yr with TD. got a quote from TD for 2021 F-150 and it was 1,500/yr. was with TD a long time but they obviously didnt want my business. kept the f-350 and went with CAA through a broker. for my f-350 its now 694/yr

Yes the thing of customer loyalty is out the window they could care less. I did get my original quote from CAA through my broker also. I then called CAA directly and it was about another $100 cheaper. You can call them and they will send you everything. When I got my new truck I called and they switch everything over even sent the info to the dealer. My advice drop the broker and you will even save more

Did you forget a “1” in front of that $670?
TD quoted me about $1600, and The Personal about $1300 ($2M liability)

I found the TD would just increase my rates every year until I left, they wouldn't give me a break even through I was getting lower quotes from the competition so I left. One agent told me they give you new client discount that gradually reduces over several years, I think it's just to steal business from the competition, not sure if there's any truth to it. Insurance companies seem to use the same business model as cable/internet companies, discounts for new clients and nothing for existing/loyal clients.

It was $670
Seems like a good deal but I should qualify that we have another vehicle with them as well as our house. Also, qualify for P.Eng rate so I'm not sure if that helps.

That’s pretty darn good. I also have the APEGA discount, but my quote does not include a second vehicle or home insurance discount.

Are you happy with The Personal? I was was with TD MM previously, but am thinking of switching for the savings.
