They advertise 40-47 hp on 5.0,but I dint know anyone has tried it yet. Sure would love to have one !That’s where I am
Ive got one ordered for my 2021 reg cab swb FX4 5.0 3:73 gears and ten speed.Ill report back when i get it. The research i did said 37 hp on 93 octane and 45 ft lbs touqueHey All,
Has anyone ran the Livernois tune yet? They told me on 93 you will get around 60HP gain. Just wondering if anyone has actually ran it yet?
My thoughts and opinions as well. However I lost mpg but only .5.got mine delivered and installed this weekend. I can tell you it is a noticeable difference. it feels like sport mode on steroids. The turbos spool much faster, and since i have the KN intake they sound louder too. Even with driving like a bit of a tool, my mpg still held at 20-21. I did talk to livernois about the e30 tune option and I think im gonna give it a try. I will say the install process is a little awkward but its easy once you get it figured out. It feels MUCH stronger than before and I would even say a bit stronger than the 3.5
to be clear I was saying the power level feels compatible if not more than the stock trim 3.5 ecoboost. The coyote I drove felt gutless below 3000 and not much more grunt than stock 2.7 but the 3.5was significantly more Noticeable. So my comparison to that I believe is accurate. ESP if you believe the numbers Provided by Livernois. It would put the 2.7 more than 3.5 (with 87 octane of course, because what dealer runs 93)I don't think you can compare power increase for the Coyote and the 3.5 Ecoboost. The Ecoboost is going to have substantially more low hanging fruit?
There's other threads already and I think the reviews are mostly happy folks regarding power.
Funny you mention that, since middle of last year they have been selling a calibrator from Ford Performance.I had once heard Ford performance was going to release tunes. Any word on that?
Ford has? Do you have a link?Funny you mention that, since middle of last year they have been selling a calibrator from Ford Performance.
