Hey all, just finished getting a few mods done on my powerboost. Have some feedback and a question below
livernois 93 tune with eboost
CVF hot/cold pipes
CVF intercooler
AFE intake
Borla exhaust
Few one offs - if you’re looking to install the CVF pipes or intercooler, the video link they give for install is on a regular 3.5. Just know there will be a few quirks for the power boost - I had to install the pipes in a slightly different order (might have just been me), couldn’t get the intercooler to fit without removing the pedestrian speaker and cutting the mount, getting the clamp tightened on the passenger side turbo with the extra orange power lines sucked lol etc
First off, love it. It’s crazy quick now, feels smoother, mileage is better etc.
Question - I noticed the boost doesn’t kick in much unless I’m really getting after it. It holds pressure when I get after it, so I don’t think that’s an issue. Curious if this is how it’s supposed to run w/ the eboost add on - the electric motors are working more, which causes the turbos to work less until you put a decent load on the engine…
